Environment Center laboratory
The Environment center laboratory develops its activity in the field of the atmospheric environment with the design of methodologies applied to the assessment of air quality (indoor-outdoor air) in urban areas (VOC), to the control of odor/discomfort episodes with the identification of the producing compounds and their origin, to the creation of spatial planning tools through the development of pollutant impact and concentration maps and to the measurement of the impact of activities through control chemical and numerical modelling.
Within the same field, control equipment for volatile organic compounds is being developed with activation by means of sensors aimed at air quality controls by recording short-term odor/discomfort episodes.
These equipment, equipped with sensors and through IoT technology, allow a continuous recording of the relative values of VOCs in urban areas.
Similarly, its implementation "at the fence" in activities that generate odor/nuisance episodes allow a thorough control by the activities of the possible generation of episodes in the inhabited areas of its environment.
