Additive manufacturing laboratory- CIM
The CIM UPC advises companies to be able to integrate additive manufacturing in their entire value chain through Design for Additive Manufacturing (DEFAM) and the integration of these technologies in the customer’s home.
At the Pilot Plant, located on the South Campus of the UPC in Barcelona, we have additive manufacturing equipment for the professional range of 3D printing of polymers, either with Laser Selective Sintering (SLS), Stereolithography (SLA) or Deposition technology (FDM).
These technologies can be used to make prototypes, tools, pre-sets or even for the manufacturing of final parts, as they are highly functional.
